Workshop Invitation:
The Chemistry of Life
SEAMEO Regional Centre for Quality Improvement of Teacher and Educational Personnel in Science (SEAMEO QITEP in Science) puts interest on the science education quality in South East Asia Region. The Centre has many regular programmes involving science teachers and education personnel in SEAMEO member countries.
In this regards, I am pleased to inform you that SEAMEO QITEP in Science will conduct workshop "The Chemistry of Life". The Chemistry of Life is a hands-on, investigative chemistry course for secondary school science teachers that integrates adult level content learning with classroom appropriate pedagogy on 9 – 10 July 2012 at SEAMEO Regional Centre for QITEP in Science, Jl. Diponegoro No. 12 Bandung, West Java. The instructor of the workshop is Rebecca Smith, Co-Director of Science and Health Education Partnership (SEP) from University of California San Francisco (UCSF).
Herewith, I enclosed the Course Descriptions, Participant Requirement and Application Forms. The participation fee cost: IDR 2.000.000 per person (coffee breaks, lunch, certificate) plus accomodation.
